Our Glasgow based client is looking for a temporary Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring tenant safety and that all cyclical maintenance obligations are met. While experience in social housing is beneficial, the focus is on technical knowledge in areas such as gas safety, water safety (legionella risk management), lift safety, electrical safety, and fire safety.

Responsibilities for this position include -

Ensure legal compliance regarding tenant property safety.Manage contractors and oversee cyclical maintenance programs.Build strong relationships to enhance service delivery.Implement digital solutions and utilise software systems effectively.Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Ideally candidates with have an understanding of technical safety regulations (gas, water, lift, electrical, fire). You will have experience managing planned maintenance programs and the compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with digital tools and Housing software systems. Finally the excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Skills and Experience:
