With good BIM processes already in place, they are looking to hire someone with a background in architecture that can continue creating and managing 3D Building Information Models (BIM), generating 2D and 3D technical drawings, collaborating with design teams, ensuring accuracy and quality control, and maintaining BIM element libraries as well maintaining the CDE

Your strong understanding of BIM design principles, protocols, and related standards, such as ISO 19650 will be essential for this.

They are looking for an architectural technologist / assistant to join the team as they work through amendments, redlining and also some standard associated detailing. This is being done in autocad so they are aiming to hire someone used to this kind of work (preferably, but not necessarily, on retail projects). A high-level of technical accuracy in autocad is the key skill as well as previous experience of working to UK regulations.

This is a role for someone with a methodical approach, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of building systems and construction processes.


Requirements:
Degree or recognised qualification in Architectural Technology, solely Architecture will not be right for this position

6 years or more professional experience in an architectural practice, ideally on commercial or large-scale projects

Advanced Revit skills are essential, proficiency in AutoCAD is also required

Strong eye for detail and a structured, problem-solving approach to tasks

Confident communicator with good organisational and time management skills

MRICS or working towards chartership is advantageous.Skills: Strong knowledge of current market rates, procurement strategies, and contract law.
