Principal Mechanical Design Engineer
City of London
Up to £60k

A large multidisciplinary consultancy based within the city of London is looking to recruit a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their award winning MEP Design Office. With a world recognised brand this London office strangely encompasses a tight knitted personable feel, this is what in my opinion sets them apart from todays corporate machines.

The MEP team is 25 members strong with a range of projects from large hotels, large mixed use developments and large scale residential schemes (3000 to 10000 units).
Their forward order books are full through to mid/late 2019 with a number of outstanding bids ready to drop, some of which are high profile international based towers.
The benefit to you at this level is you will have complete autonomy of your projects from conception through to hand over and represent the company at client level.
If the project requires you travelling abroad to see the client for what ever reason then you'll be on the next flight out. This level of ownership is another thing not often given in a large consultancy, no longer will an Associate reap the benefits from building a client relationship based off your hard work.

This brings me on to the next point, the team are not top heavy with countless Associates, AD's and Directors. There is genuinely room for quick progression through to Associate with guidance from the MEP Director. A clear path will be set for you.

The office environment has a great atmosphere, they are definitely a social bunch and the team is Directed by one of the best in the business, a very hands on technically strong engineer with a solid client base.

If you're looking for a new position to kick start your career for the New Year then this could be the one, join a large stable business that has your best interest at heart from the get go with the added benefit of not being a "corporate machine". Take ownership of your career and get in touch today to discuss in confidence.
