Job description

Two Health and Safety Officers are required for a leading property management and development company, whose continued growth and innovative structure means positions are available on the commercial and client side of the organisation.
You will assist in the development, implementation and management of the health and safety strategy and Policy, in line with legislative obligations whilst ensuring the Group's health and safety management system continues to meet the requirements of OHSAS18001 to support these.
Duties will include:
-To assist in the development and implementation of safe systems of work and safe operating procedures for the provision and use of all relevant work equipment, machinery and plant.
-To assist where required with the approval and monitoring of contractors and suppliers.
-To be an expert user of the Risk Management programme system (FLOW) and lead on the implementation and use of the system to relevant persons.
-To provide specialist and technical health and safety advice as required on appropriate plant, tools, equipment, personal protective equipment, and substances.
-To liaise on behalf of the organisation with enforcing authorities, i.e. HSE, Local Authority, Fire and Rescue Service, etc. and other agencies and third parties as required.
You will have a NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum and ideally have worked within new build housing or housing associations previously.
