Eden Brown have partnered with a leading Retirement living and Assisted living house builder. They have been formed over 50 years and have a large presence in the market and an enviable reputation.

The role of Land Acquisition Surveyor is a key strategic hire for our clients and the opportunity to grow within their Birmingham office is now available. In this role you will assist in the delivery of land acquisition to meet the region's business plan and future growth requirements.

As a Land Acquisition surveyor you will:

  • Assisting the Land team in the successful acquisition of land within the regional boundaries.
  • Sourcing and securing land effectively for the immediate, short and medium term via the development of agent contacts; planning leads, methods of formal and informal tender and 'off market' land procurement.
  • Assisting the Land team with producing and presenting land offers and negotiating best possible terms.
  • Assisting in achieving planning approvals and the process of determining, agreeing and delivering site start programmes and development programmes within agreed timescales.
  • Actively managing communications and operational interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess an ambitious and driven attitude with a drive to learn and become a part of a rapidly growing business along with the ability to work within a professional environment.
  • Have previous experience within the Property & Construction sector which could have been gained by working for a new homes' developer, local authority, planning or surveying consultancy.
  • Have an understanding of the legal and planning frameworks associated with land acquisition is essential along with a relevant qualification such as MRICS/RTPI.
