* Attend remote design and coordination meetings, providing clear and informed technical input.
* Produce accurate modelling outputs and concise technical reports for review by the UK team.

Applicants are not expected to meet every requirement, and additional training and support can be provided.

* Proven experience in building physics and IES VE modelling.
* Experience undertaking overheating, thermal comfort, and energy performance assessments.
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations and sustainability standards, particularly Part
L, Part O, and TM59.
* Experience contributing to Energy Strategy Reports or similar sustainability documentation.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective
communication with UK-based teams.
* Previous experience working on UK building projects would be advantageous, but is not
essential.
* Knowledge of SAP, SBEM, or Elmhurst software would be beneficial, although candidates with
strong IES and building physics expertise will also be considered.

Whats on Offer?

* Long-term freelance engagement.
* Fully remote working from South Africa.
* Opportunity to work on a wide range of UK building projects.
* A technically focused role centred on building physics and performance modelling.
* Exposure to both retrofit and new-build developments.
* Supportive and collaborative UK team environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Physics or Sustainability Consultant based in South Africa who is looking to work on UK projects remotely while continuing to develop their expertise in technical modelling and sustainable building design.
