EB Global

EB Global offshoring services remote BIM worker

We manage the full setup and operation of your South African staff — from sourcing top talent and establishing your legal entity to ensuring compliance with tax, labour, and regulatory requirements. Our team handles all registrations, financial administration, and hardware setup, allowing you to focus on growing your business while we take care of the rest.

Benefits of using our managed labour solution

  • Real-Time, English-Speaking Collaboration

No time zone headaches. South Africa (GMT+2) means you work with teams who are online when you are — in real time, in fluent English, with no overnight delays.
  • A Globally Recognised Talent Hub

South Africa is no longer emerging — it’s established. Voted National Outsourcing Destination of the Year and European Offshoring Destination of the Year in the past 5 years, it's a proven leader in global delivery.
  • Lower Costs. Same High Standards.

Why pay London prices for the same quality? With up to 45% savings on labour, you can reinvest in growth, not overhead — all without compromising on output or expertise.
  • Your Team, Just Elsewhere

These aren’t freelancers. They’re fully embedded team members—aligned with your tools, your workflows, and your goals. Whether it’s a project sprint or ongoing delivery, they hit the ground running.
Pound vs Rand over time graph

The historical Pound-to-Rand trend shows just how strong the cost case for South African talent has become. The long-term exchange-rate trend directly enhances salary arbitrage and boosts project profitability.

People on staircase asking questions about offshoring

Are SA building codes aligned with those in the UK?
South African building code & regulations are based principally on the UK’s, many of which are the same. In practice, skilled South African engineers upskill quickly, and EB Global can also run a Masterclass for these engineers to accelerate them getting up to speed.

Who buys the software/hardware?
Many companies have global licenses which can be used, EB Global can also buy software and hardware locally according to spec, typically at 30% buying gain, the cost of which we can add to your monthly invoice.

Isn’t the local power unreliable?
Load-shedding hasn’t occurred for months, and most professionals have home backup power in place. EB Global also provides UPS systems to ensure consistent uptime, so power reliability isn’t a concern.

What if it doesn’t work?
Like any hire, there’s always a risk that things don’t work out. All contracts have probation periods in them, all hires should be made with the same expectations you’d have in the UK in terms of outputs, and if people don’t perform, they can be exited. If your work slows up, and you no longer need the additional resource, the Worst Case Scenario is a 3 month shut down period.

Is the invoicing complex?
No – you just trade with Eden Brown in the UK the same way you always have.

I’m not sure how to manage remotely – what does Best Practice look like?
You already run great businesses, and likely have a mixture of stakeholders in & outside the office, so you already have the skills to make this work. Communicate regularly, make sure the team members are treated as colleagues not ‘resources’, challenge bias where you see it, and come along to our Best Practice sessions to hear proven methods and share ideas.
