About the Role

In this role, you'll provide leadership, technical guidance, and strategic input across a variety of projects - ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations while promoting best practices in health and safety.

This is a client-facing role where you'll also have the opportunity to represent the practice externally and contribute to business development within the health and safety/CDM consultancy space.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a CDM Advisor and Principal Designer across multiple projects, supporting project teams in embedding design risk management from early stages. You'll collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to promote safe design principles, provide guidance on health and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle, and help enhance internal CDM practices.


You'll have a strong understanding of CDM Regulations 2015, with proven experience in a CDM, health & safety, or design risk management role. A background in architecture, engineering, or construction is preferred, along with experience across all RIBA work stages and excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience
Professional experience as a Principal Designer or CDM Consultant is essential, with qualifications such as the NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar being advantageous. Candidates should have a detail-oriented, proactive approach and a commitment to promoting health and safety best practices across all stages of the design and construction process.
