The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to take a leading role on data centre and mission-critical projects, while working within a genuinely multidisciplinary environment.
You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle - from initial concept development and detailed design through to specifications, equipment selection and construction - giving you the opportunity to see your designs through to reality.
Alongside the technical side, you'll have responsibility for managing resources, supporting the development of junior engineers and maintaining the high standards expected across the team.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead electrical engineering design from concept through to detailed and installation designDevelop complete electrical systems for data centre and mission-critical facilitiesProduce detailed designs, calculations, specifications and estimatesReview designs and reports to ensure technical quality and regulatory complianceCoordinate closely with mechanical, structural and other multidisciplinary teamsAttend client and design team meetings and provide technical inputManage resources and support project delivery against programme requirementsCarry out design reviews, QA checks and technical assuranceMentor, coach and develop junior engineersEnsure designs comply with relevant health, safety, quality and environmental requirementsAbout You

5+ years' experience in electrical building services designStrong technical knowledge across electrical systemsExperience delivering detailed designs on complex building projectsIdeally, experience within data centres, mission-critical or other technically demanding environmentsStrong project and resource management skillsExcellent communication and client-facing abilitiesA proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teamsBEng, MSc or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a relevant disciplineWhy Join?
