They are looking for a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the electrical design for Data Centre projects. With a focus on collaboration, professionalism, and continuous growth, the company fosters an inclusive and supportive environment that prioritises work-life balance and offers ample opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the electrical design and specification for projects within the Data Centre sector.Produce detailed electrical schematics and ensure alignment with company standards.Develop and refine electrical design standards.Mentor junior engineers and oversee their professional development.Manage the preparation of tender packages, as well as monitor quality and installation throughout the project.Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to deliver solutions tailored to project needs.Develop project scopes in conjunction with design teams and clients.Regular site visits to ensure design integrity and implementation.Confidently utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit.


What You Need:

Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status is an advantage but not essential).10+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer, with a proven track record in electrical design for Data Centre projects.Expertise in electrical design techniques and standards such as ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit is a plus.Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers.Solid experience managing the design and specification of electrical systems.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

A leading consultancy, working on cutting-edge projects across the EMEA region, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior-level role, leading mechanical building services design for data centres, industrial/high-tech, and commercial developments.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing projects from concept through to client handover. You'll lead engineering teams, oversee design delivery, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This role also offers mentorship responsibilities, with a focus on ensuring quality and consistency across all project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and specification of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Oversee full project lifecycles including planning, execution, and client interaction.Ensure compliance with international standards (CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS, EN).Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and design teams.Prepare detailed design documentation including tender packages.Monitor budgets, timelines, and performance throughout the project.Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.Promote sustainable, energy-efficient solutions in all designs.Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Currently based in Ireland with eligibility to work and attend Dublin office as needed.Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (Chartered status desirable).7+ years' experience in mechanical design for data centres, industrial/high-tech, commercial, or healthcare projects.Skilled in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit knowledge of other engineering software is advantageous.Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
