A growing building services and sustainability consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Director - Electrical Engineering to play a key role in the leadership and development of its London team.

Known for delivering technically excellent, design-led engineering solutions, the business works closely with architects, developers and project teams across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, residential, hospitality, education, life sciences and mixed-use developments.

With a strong focus on sustainability, collaboration and engineering quality, the consultancy has built an excellent reputation and is continuing to grow its presence within the London market.

The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants more than just project delivery.
You'll be involved in shaping the direction of the business, developing client relationships, mentoring engineers and helping grow the electrical engineering offering, whilst remaining closely involved in the delivery of high-quality projects.

As a senior member of the team, you'll have genuine influence over projects, people and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the electrical design and delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, architects and project stakeholders
* Oversee technical quality and successful project delivery
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Support business development and work-winning activities
* Mentor and develop engineers across the team
* Collaborate with mechanical and sustainability specialists to deliver integrated design solutions
* Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the business

About You
* Significant experience within a building services consultancy environment
* Strong technical expertise in electrical building services design
* Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
* Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
* Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Chartered status, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous

The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role for someone who wants more than just project delivery.
You'll take ownership of the electrical discipline locally - leading projects, developing client relationships, and helping grow both the team and the wider business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading electrical design delivery across multiple projects
- Acting as a senior client contact, building and strengthening relationships
- Taking responsibility for technical quality, project outcomes, and team performance
