An award-winning building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join its growing team.

The Role

Youll play a key role in leading electrical design delivery, developing client relationships and mentoring engineers, whilst helping shape the future growth of the business.

A privately owned building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior - Associate Electrical Engineer to play a key role within its growing electrical team.

The Opportunity

This is a role for an experienced Electrical Engineer who wants to remain technically involved while taking greater ownership of projects, clients and people.

You'll lead electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to work-winning, mentor engineers and help shape the continued development of the electrical team.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead electrical design and delivery from concept through to completionProduce and review technical designs, specifications, reports and drawingsCoordinate electrical designs with other disciplinesLead design team and client meetingsManage project programmes, budgets and technical deliverablesBuild and develop strong client relationshipsSupport business development and work-winning activitiesMentor and develop junior and intermediate engineersContribute to technical standards and quality assurance

About You

You'll ideally have:

Significant experience in electrical building services engineeringStrong technical capability across electrical designExperience leading projects and multidisciplinary teamsExcellent client-facing, communication and presentation skillsExperience managing project budgets and deliverablesA strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standardsChartered Engineer status, or be working towards Chartership
