We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing project delivery team at the start of the construction of one of the largest hyperscale data centre schemes in the UK - A 140 MW scheme!
This role will take responsibility for the operational delivery of the Mechanical (HVAC) packages from pre-construction/ Scope/ Procurement/ validation of subcontractors and ultimately to commissioning and handover. The successful candidate will have experience delivering complex building services installations and coordinating multidisciplinary teams on fast-paced projects and importantly experience in handling as a single discipline electrical project values of £30 + million within a project cost
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Project Manager looking to work on large-scale mission critical, commercial or infrastructure projects. If you have experience of cooling withing the Data centre space this would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of Mechanical packages from pre con to award and through to completion.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams.
* Manage project planning, sequencing and progress reporting.
* Chair and attend client, subcontractor and coordination meetings.
* Oversee procurement schedules and material management.
* Manage technical queries, RFIs and design coordination.
