Great opportunity for an Interior Designer to contribute to the design of high-profile, international hospitality, residential and retail projects.

We are currently working with an international design studio that is looking to increase its team size as it embarks on a program of projects. With an established project team already in place, they are now looking to hire a creative interior designer with strong conceptual and graphic skills and a background in the hospitality/residential sectors. Focused on interior design development, you will have demonstrable experience in the design of schemes, moving them forward and communicating well throughout with the client and to the team. This role would suit designers with a good eye for layout, composition, colour and materials an ability to communicate ideas through mood boards, diagrams and visual research and confident developing concept layouts and early design studies. Softwware used is typically autoad, sketchup. enscape.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an interior designer to support the development and delivery of international workplace and commercial interior projects.

You will contribute across the project lifecycle, supporting concept development, space planning, presentations, Revit modelling, drawing production and FF&E coordination.

This position would suit a creative but technically capable designer who is looking to gain exposure to international projects while working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support workplace and commercial interior projects from concept through to technical delivery.
Produce space plans, test fits and workplace layouts.
Assist with concept creation, precedent research and the development of visual design directions.
Prepare client presentations, mood boards, material palettes and design narratives.
Develop project information using Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
Produce plans, elevations, sections and coordinated drawing packages.
Assist with furniture, fixtures, finishes and equipment selection.
Prepare finish schedules, furniture schedules and presentation materials.
Research materials, products, suppliers and workplace design trends.
Coordinate design information with technical designers and external consultants.
Incorporate feedback from clients, project leaders and senior designers.
Support the preparation of client workshops and internal design reviews.
Manage individual tasks and deadlines across several projects.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Qualification in interior design, interior architecture or a related design discipline.
Professional experience within interior, workplace or commercial design.
Strong design, space-planning and presentation skills.
Working knowledge of Revit.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
Understanding of materials, finishes, furniture and interior detailing.
Ability to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings and presentations.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to receive feedback and work collaboratively with senior designers.
Professional written and spoken English.

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE
Experience working on workplace, office, hospitality or commercial interior projects.
Experience supporting UK or European clients.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Enscape, SketchUp or other visualisation software.
Experience preparing technical drawing packages.
Understanding of workplace strategy and contemporary working environments.
French or Dutch language capability.
