Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for more than just a design role?

Were working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 100 engineers nationwide, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects while gaining exposure from every angle of project delivery, including client-side, contractor-side and consultancy environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate Electrical Engineer who enjoys building relationships, takes a consultative approach with clients and wants to play an active role in project delivery rather than simply sitting behind a screen producing designs.

What You'll Be Working On

Projects range from fast-paced CAT A & CAT B fit-outs through to large-scale developments for major private and public sector clients, giving you plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your technical and commercial skills.

I've just met with one of our long-standing clients, and three things stood out: they genuinely invest in their people, their project pipeline remains consistently strong, and the work is technically exciting.

With a portfolio spanning commercial fit-outs, student accommodation, education, healthcare diagnostics and scalable multi-site developments, they are now looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their growing team of nine engineers in London and 1 in Cape Town.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with 2+ years' post-graduate experience looking to accelerate their career within a technology-enabled consultancy. You'll work alongside experienced Directors and senior Engineers on technically challenging projects, gaining exposure across design, project delivery and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

* Support the delivery of Electrical building services projects from concept through to completion
* Assist with technical design, specifications, drawings and project documentation
* Work collaboratively with clients, consultants and wider design teams
* Provide technical input and support throughout all project stages
* Contribute to project coordination, quality control and successful delivery

Requirements

* Degree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
* 2+ years' post-graduate experience within an engineering consultancy
* Experience working on commercial, residential or mixed-use projects
* Knowledge of electrical building services design principles
* Experience with software such as **Revit, AutoCAD, DiaLux and Amtech/Trimble** is beneficial
* Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
* A proactive approach with a desire to develop technically and professionally
