Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer seeking a dynamic opportunity to showcase your skills in building services? My client are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to contribute their expertise to the diverse portfolio of large-scale residential building projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design process for residential building projects, from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct detailed electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to communicate project requirements effectively.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, with a focus on residential projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations governing building construction.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status is desirable.

We are especially keen to hear from those who are happy to work nights and or want part time work or cover into the evening

This is not a public site and only open to specialist pre-booked commercial vehicles

The roles available may suit either some one looking for part time local work or ex HGV/ warehouse or military workers

or warehouse workers looking for a change - Training will be provided

Enhanced rates are available for overtime/ emergency cover and bank holidays

This is based near DIRFT so you will need to consider location before applying
