PMO Lead - Infrastructure

Eden Brown is delighted to be supporting a leading project and programme management consultancy as they continue to expand their Infrastructure team across Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to play a pivotal role in the delivery of major infrastructure programmes across sectors including transport, water, utilities, civil engineering and public sector capital projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PMO, Project Controls or Programme Controls professional looking to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of high-profile projects across Ireland.

The Role

As PMO Manager, you will lead the planning, governance, reporting and project controls functions across complex infrastructure programmes. Working closely with clients, project directors and delivery teams, you will ensure robust controls, consistent reporting and effective programme governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading PMO and project controls activities across major infrastructure programmesManaging programme governance, reporting and performance monitoringOverseeing schedule, cost, risk and change management processesProducing and reviewing integrated programme schedules and progress reportsDeveloping dashboards, KPIs and project performance metricsIdentifying trends, risks and programme variances, recommending corrective actionsSupporting budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting activitiesLeading monthly reporting cycles and client stakeholder updatesDeveloping PMO tools, templates and best practice processesMentoring and supporting junior project controls and PMO professionals

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess:

10+ years experience within PMO, Programme Controls or Project Controls environmentsInfrastructure sector experience across transport, rail, highways, utilities, water, aviation or major capital projectsStrong experience using PrimaveraP6, MS Project or AstaPowerprojectAdvanced reporting and analytical skills, including Power BI and ExcelKnowledge of cost control, programme planning, scheduling and earned value managementStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working within consultancy, client-side or major programme environments

Desirable

AACE, PMI-SP, MSP, PRINCE2 or similar professional accreditationMembership of a recognised professional body such as APM, RICS or Engineers IrelandExperience working on Irish public sector infrastructure programmesExposure to BIM, digital delivery and programme management systems
