The Opportunity
Working closely with client stakeholders, programme leadership teams and alliance partners, you will help create a single source of trusted commercial and operational performance information, supporting the successful delivery of AMP8 objectives and long-term value creation.
You will provide leadership across commercial performance, governance and assurance activities, ensuring consistency in reporting, forecasting, change management and cost control while promoting continuous improvement and best practice throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a single, assured view of programme-wide commercial and operational performance.
Lead commercial governance processes, controls, reporting frameworks and performance targets.
Drive consistency across forecasting, cost management, change control and performance measurement.
Provide leadership and direction to commercial teams across regional and central functions.
Ensure delivery activities remain aligned with client frameworks, standards and governance requirements.
Generate performance insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Champion proactive risk and opportunity management across the programme.
Promote a strong safety culture, supporting a zero-harm environment throughout delivery.
Collaborate with programme delivery, commercial and assurance teams to achieve required outputs, outcomes and efficiencies.
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
Significant experience in commercial performance, commercial management or programme controls within major infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting, reporting and change control processes.
Experience operating within collaborative alliance, framework or partnership delivery models.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Experience working within regulated infrastructure sectors such as water, utilities, energy, transport or construction would be advantageous.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement, governance and performance assurance.
