The RoleAs Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will lead the preconstruction process from initial enquiry through to contract award, ensuring bids are commercially robust, technically sound, and aligned with client expectations.
Working closely with clients, consultants, designers, commercial teams and operational stakeholders, you will drive successful project outcomes and help secure some of London's most prestigious fit out projects.
ResponsibilitiesLead multiple preconstruction opportunities simultaneously.Manage the entire bid and tender process from enquiry through to contract award.Develop winning tender strategies and coordinate bid submissions.Oversee design development throughout the preconstruction phase.Produce and review cost plans, budgets and procurement strategies.Manage client presentations, workshops and stakeholder engagement.Coordinate internal teams including design, estimating, commercial and operations.Identify value engineering opportunities and innovative project solutions.Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Support and mentor junior members of the preconstruction team.Contribute towards business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsProven experience within a Preconstruction Manager or Senior Preconstruction Manager position.Background working on commercial office fit out and refurbishment projects.Strong understanding of design management, estimating and commercial functions.Experience leading negotiated and competitive tender opportunities.Excellent client-facing, presentation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.Ambitious, driven and looking to progress within a growing business.What's On Offer?Salary up to £135,000 depending on experience.Bonus scheme.Car allowance.Private healthcare.PensionGenuine career progression into senior leadership.Exposure to some of London's most prestigious workplace projects.Opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals.

The RoleWorking closely with clients, consultants, designers and internal delivery teams, you will take ownership of the entire pre-construction process, ensuring schemes are commercially viable, technically robust and positioned for successful delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead pre-construction activities from enquiry through to contract award.Manage and coordinate bid submissions, tender responses and client presentations.Work closely with estimating, commercial, design and operations teams.Review project risks, opportunities and buildability considerations.Develop programme strategies and procurement plans.Coordinate input from specialist subcontractors and supply chain partners.Drive value engineering initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.Attend client meetings and act as a key stakeholder throughout the bid process.Oversee multiple projects simultaneously ranging from £1m to £25m+.Support business development efforts and help secure future opportunities.RequirementsProven experience within commercial fit-out, refurbishment or design & build environments.Previous experience as a Pre-Construction Manager, Senior Pre-Construction Manager, Bid Manager, Design Manager or similar.Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of tender processes.Ability to engage confidently with clients and consultants at senior level.Strong project planning, coordination and leadership skills.Experience working on projects ranging from £1m to £25m+.Stable career history within reputable contractors.What's On Offer?Basic salary of £80,000 - £125,000.Comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid working flexibility.Genuine career progression opportunities.Exposure to some of London's most prestigious workplace projects.Opportunity to work for a market-leading and highly respected fit-out contractor.
