Eden Brown is working in partnership with a leading international property and construction consultancy to recruit a French-speaking Senior Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded project management team delivering refurbishment, fit-out and capital investment programmes across the retail sector throughout the UK and Europe.

A key part of this role will involve managing and coordinating with a French-speaking contractor, making fluent French language skills essential.
Working with a major international retail client, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects including store refurbishments, fit-outs, extensions, asset renewal programmes and strategic rollouts. Project values range from £100k to £20m.
Beyond retail, this role offers significant scope to broaden your experience across the consultancys wider Private Property division, providing exposure to office fit-outs, workplace transformation, commercial relocations and a variety of corporate real estate projects.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, managing stakeholders, consultants, contractors and client teams from project inception through to completion.
While projects will generally be focused around your home region, occasional travel across the UK and Europe will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of refurbishment, fit-out and capital investment projects from inception to completion.Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.Coordinate and manage a French-speaking contractor, ensuring effective communication throughout project delivery.Develop and oversee project programmes, budgets and risk management strategies.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and best practice.Manage design teams and consultant appointments.Monitor project performance against agreed KPIs and commercial objectives.Support the continuous improvement of project delivery processes and programme performance.Provide leadership and direction across multiple projects simultaneously.

About You

Fluent French speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience delivering retail refurbishment, fit-out or capital projects.Strong project management background within the property, construction or infrastructure sectors.Commercially aware with strong financial management skills.Experience managing multiple stakeholders across complex project environments.Membership of, or working towards, a recognised professional body such as RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent.Ability to work independently whilst managing several projects at varying stages of delivery.
