Senior Project Manager - Retail Programme

Eden Brown is delighted to be working with a leading international construction and property consultancy as they continue to expand their National Programmes team.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of retail projects across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy delivering major programmes within live operational environments.

Working as part of an established and collaborative team, you will take responsibility for projects from feasibility through to completion, managing stakeholders, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing projects through all phases of delivery, from feasibility to completion and post-handover.Preparing and managing key stage project reports.Coordinating and managing multidisciplinary project teams.Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with agreed procurement, commercial and contractual strategies.Managing tender processes, contractor queries and bid evaluations.Preparing and administering contract documentation.Chairing project meetings and producing meeting minutes and action schedules.Managing multiple projects simultaneously within live operational environments.Monitoring project performance against programme, budget, risk and quality requirements.Promoting best practice in health & safety, quality and environmental management.

About You

The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware and client-focused, with a proven track record of delivering construction projects within a consultancy, client-side or project management environment.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or a related construction discipline.Strong technical understanding of project delivery and construction processes.ExperienceProven experience in a Project Management role within the built environment sector.Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.Experience managing projects through the RIBA Plan of Work.Familiarity with the design development process.Experience delivering projects within retail, commercial or similar fast-paced sectors would be advantageous.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong stakeholder and client management abilities.Commercially astute with strong organisational skills.Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects effectively.Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem solving.
