The Opportunity

The Role
As an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions across a varied portfolio of projects.

You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading mechanical design and delivery from concept through to completion.

What You'll Be Doing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Revit CAD Lead to join an established engineering business delivering complex M&E-focused projects across a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will lead Revit and CAD delivery across MEP projects, working closely with engineers and project teams to produce coordinated, high-quality technical designs.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead Revit and CAD production across MEP/building services projects.Produce and coordinate high-quality technical drawings and Revit models.Manage CAD/Revit standards, templates, families and drawing procedures.Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver coordinated designs.Identify and resolve modelling and drawing issues.Support and mentor junior technicians.Liaise with project teams, clients and other design professionals.Help improve BIM and digital design processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong building services / MEP experience - essential.Extensive hands-on experience using Revit and AutoCAD.Experience working on mechanical and/or electrical building services projects.Previous experience leading or coordinating CAD/BIM delivery.Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards and coordination.Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Package: £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, with hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, based in Greater Manchester.

Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development, proposals or account growth.
