Architectural Technologist to join a friendly studio and escape London bustle

Our client is an architectural and interior studio in business over 20 years. They have an impressive range of work on their books covering commercial office, residential (high-end mainly) and retail projects largely, with some globally recognised clients.

They are looking for an Immediate start Architectural Technologist who is used to working on small-medium sized schemes of this nature, is happy to liaise with clients and deliver across the stages, using Autocad and Sketchup software for design. As they are busy, they can only consider applications with significant experience of working to UK building regulations.

In return they can offer a varied job, with a good sense of ownership over schemes, supported by colleagues who are as interested in enjoying each day as they are delivering quality architecture. This role is a contract per hour position, and looking for someone to start immediately.

Senior MEP BIM Technician
Essex (Rayleigh)
Up to £50,000 + Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior MEP BIM Technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy based in Rayleigh, Essex. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors, within a team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional development - The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years' experience using Revit MEP, alongside a strong understanding of building services coordination, BIM standards, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
* Produce high-quality BIM models and coordinated MEP drawings using Revit MEP
* Collaborate with design engineers, architects, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of building services
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices
* Participate in project meetings and assist in the coordination process
* Support junior technicians and provide guidance where necessary
* Review and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
* Ensure models meet Level of Development (LOD) and other project deliverables
* Identify and resolve coordination issues using clash detection software such as Navisworks

Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience using Revit MEP on live building services projects
* Strong understanding of MEP systems, coordination, and services layout
* Experience working in a BIM Level 2 environment
* Familiarity with industry standards including PAS 1192 and ISO 19650
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
