You'll collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, sustainability specialists, architects and design teams, giving you exposure to projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the electrical design of Building Services projects whilst supporting junior engineers and contributing to the continued growth of the London office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the electrical design of building services projects.
- Designing power, lighting, fire alarm, security and life safety systems.
- Producing electrical calculations using industry-standard software.
- Preparing specifications, reports and technical documentation.
- Coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects and wider design teams.
- Attending client and design team meetings.
- Managing project delivery, budgets and programme deadlines.
- Mentoring Graduate and Intermediate Engineers.
- Supporting Associates and Directors with project delivery and client relationships.
- Carrying out technical reviews and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Proven experience within a UK Building Services Consultancy.
- Strong electrical building services design experience.
- Good knowledge of current Building Regulations and British Standards.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Chartered status (or working towards) would be advantageous.
