The role:

An exiting role is available for an existing development / land professional to work for an Essex based Housing Association, on an initial 6 month contract.

You would predominately be responsible for:

  • Help identify and progress new growth opportunities for both affordable and market sale opportunities.
  • Appraise new schemes in line with growth assumptions using the ProVal appraisal software for both affordable and private sales homes.
  • Project management of identified projects and initiatives.
  • Undertake research relating to land opportunities, planning approvals using on-line planning portals and market rents / sales values.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with developers, landowners, agents, contractors, solicitors and other teams to assist with the identification and delivery of new affordable and private sales homes, to assist in the delivery of growth ambitions
  • Working on Section 106 agreements

Key Skills and experience:

  • Ideal backgorund in Housing / Local government
  • At least one year's experience of residential property development
  • A full driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes
  • Section 106 experience
