Senior MEP BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager

Location: City of London, London
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based (5 days per week)

The Opportunity

An established building services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior MEP BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager to join its London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BIM professional with a solid background in building services and extensive Revit experience to take on a key role within a specialist contractor, working on projects through the later stages of delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MEP systems, BIM coordination and the practical challenges of delivering fully coordinated building services models. Candidates with a mechanical and electrical contractor background are particularly encouraged to apply. However, candidates looking to transition into later-stage project delivery, with a genuine willingness to learn and develop, will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support MEP BIM coordination across complex building services projects.

  • Develop, manage and coordinate detailed Revit models to ensure accuracy and buildability.

  • Work closely with project teams, engineers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve coordination issues.

  • Identify and manage clashes, ensuring practical and effective solutions are implemented.

  • Support the delivery of coordinated models through the later stages of construction.

  • Ensure BIM standards, workflows and project requirements are consistently maintained.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the BIM team where required.

What They Are Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.

  • Previous experience in an MEP BIM coordination or BIM management role.

  • A good understanding of BIM processes, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.

  • A contractor-side background would be highly advantageous.

  • Experience working on projects through the later stages of delivery would be beneficial.

  • Candidates looking to transition into later-stage project delivery will also be considered, provided they have a strong technical foundation and a willingness to learn.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong communication and coordination skills.

The Package

Working Arrangements
