Estimator

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package

A leading commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to join its established pre-construction team. Working on projects ranging from £100,000 to £25m, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse tender documentation and identify project requirements.
• Prepare and issue subcontractor enquiry packages and tender documentation.
• Manage subcontractor and client queries throughout the tender period.
• Review and analyse subcontractor returns and assess project risks.
• Compile competitive estimates, preliminaries and tender submissions.
• Work closely with pre-construction, commercial and operations teams to develop bid strategies.
• Lead tender settlement meetings and present proposals to senior stakeholders.
• Support contractor proposals, post-tender negotiations and client interviews.

Requirements

• Previous estimating experience within commercial fit-out, interiors or refurbishment.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to strict deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using Excel, Conquest, Deltek and Procore (or similar systems).
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with clients, subcontractors and senior management.
